Dynamic ACF Repeater for Elementor is a WordPress plugin that renders repeater rows stored in Secure Custom Fields or ACF Pro through Elementor Pro’s existing Loop Grid and Loop Carousel widgets. You design one Loop Item; the plugin supplies each row’s context and dynamic data. It does not replace the Loop widgets or impose a card design of its own.
What's the difference between the free and pro versions?
Free renders text and image repeater rows through Elementor Pro’s Loop Grid, including repeater images as Loop Item backgrounds, ACF Options page sources, automatic context selection, and an editor-only Context Inspector.
Pro adds Loop Carousel support, integration with Elementor Pro’s own Taxonomy Filter widget, row search, sorting, number and date range filters, lightbox, file, gallery, link, color and icon values, nested Repeaters, Group and Flexible Content paths, layout-to-template mapping, Relationship and Post Object queries, optional URL state for multiple independent grids, Element Display Conditions, and a repeater-driven Elementor Forms field.
Does this work with Secure Custom Fields, or only ACF?
Both. The plugin works with Secure Custom Fields or Advanced Custom Fields Pro through their shared runtime APIs, so either provider can supply the rows. You need a Repeater or Flexible Content field from whichever one you use. Version 2.4.5 was validated against Secure Custom Fields 6.9.1.
Does it work with Loop Carousel as well as Loop Grid?
Yes, in Pro. The same repeater rows render through Elementor Pro’s existing Loop Carousel widget, using the Loop Item you already designed. One Loop Item can serve the grid, the carousel, and the lightbox without being redrawn, and Flexible Content layouts can map to different Loop templates.
What lightbox features are available?
Pro adds an optional lightbox to the Loop Grid, with customizable content width and height, background colors, and navigation controls, plus optional previous/next movement between rows. You can also show or hide individual elements in the lightbox independently of the grid, so the lightbox can present more detail than the card.
How does the Custom Taxonomy Filter work?
Pro offers two filtering routes. You can use Elementor Pro’s own Taxonomy Filter widget, including multi-select and its existing pagination and Load More behavior, so filtering stays in the interface you already know. Or you can use the plugin’s own filter, which by default filters groups of rows by their parent post’s taxonomy terms, and can instead filter on taxonomy terms stored inside individual rows. Both support term ordering, default selections, and optional URL deeplinking.
What field types are supported?
Free covers text and textarea, image, URL-compatible values, and original post titles. Pro adds file and media, gallery, URL/link with separate title and target, color, and icon output. Relationship and taxonomy values are formatted according to their field type, and multiple values use deterministic ordering.
Can I use ACF Relationship fields with this plugin?
Yes. Pro includes Relationship and Post Object query support, so a Loop Grid can display related content from across your site — related products, team members, or resources — without recreating those relationships by hand. Field-key paths stay stable through Groups, Flexible Content layouts, nested Repeaters, and mixed combinations of them.
